I've just received the flag from Gen. Casey, symbolizing assuming command, and Jeff Wood's read the orders. The Army way is a little different than the Air Force. At this point in the Air Force way, everyone's seen me take the flag, and heard the orders published, so it'd be official. The Army makes you sign a letter acknowledging you accept command--which I did about two hours later!
